BOM Announcement Coming 3/24

Are you ready? It is our belief that tomorrow, March 24th, 2026, Mike Morath and the TEA goons will announce the new BOM either just before or at the regularly scheduled school board meeting. Why? Because they have a Special Session scheduled for March 27th, 2026 where they will vote on selling the Farrington Field surrounding parcels. This meeting is Friday at 5:30pm. Seriously.

This is an attempt by the TEA to pop in a BOM and three days later pat themselves on the back for liquidating (ie: selling) assets to free up money for the district. It should be noted that this has been in the works with the elected trustees and current administration for well over a year. Any congratulations for a job well done will be stolen by the new BOM that did zero to move this across the finish line.

Given this prediction, we would like to say THANK YOU to the outgoing volunteer trustees who have spent countless hours working to make the district better. And thank you to the current administration who is likely to be cleared out this week. It is a shame that just as a new Superintendent was put in place and metrics began to move in the right direction, that this happened to them. It is not what the majority of the public wanted, because if it were, the public would have voted these trustees out. But we did not. We are looking forward to holding ALL of the new BOM members accountable for their actions.
